If one third more Americans wear a Halloween costume next year, it means 100,000,000 more people wear a costume. The next year will have 10,000,000+300,000,000=220,000,000 people wear costume. The ratio is: 220,000,000:300,000,000=11:15, or 11/15, or 73% people. The 11:15 and 73% is much beter than 11/15.

7. If this pattern continues, each year one third more Americans wearing a Halloween costume than the year before, when would virtually all Americans be wearing a costume for Halloween? Clearly show how you found your answer.
If each year one third more Americans wearing a Halloween, it means every year increasing 100,000,000 people wearing a costume. It is 220,000,000+100,000,000=320,000,000, because America just have 300,000,000 people, so the third year will be the all Americans be wearing a costume for Halloween.
